PHP Programmer

up2speed computer solutions, LLC is looking for a Full-Time PHP programmer . We are looking for a self-motivated, skilled PHP Web Application Developer to assist us in creating new applications for our customers.  This position will work with our application development team in all facets of developing websites and web applications.

Required Skills:

- At least 4 years experience with PHP5 programming

- Familiar with Object -oriented and Model/View/Controller architecture

-  JavaScript - 4 years experience with AJAX and DOM Level 1 & 2 for creating rich, dynamic web applications

- Strong CSS skills for turning a graphic artist's design into a functional website

-  Basic MySQL and MSSQL database administration skills

-  Basic Linux server administration skills

-  AJAX experience preferable but not essential

-  Dreamweaver / Photoshop / Zend Studio experience preferred

-  Subversion experience preferred

-  Must be able to work well independently and take initiative for   managing development projects.

IT Help Desk Consultant

We are seeking a Hardware/Phone Support Consultant to join our growing team in Central Denver. The Support Consultant will provide first and second level technical support to end users and businesses associated with general support questions in a Windows server and desktop environment via the phone or email.  This position also requires the consultant to go to client site for IT maintenance and installations.

Requirements:

- Extensive knowledge of PC Operating systems (XP, Vista, Windows7), PC hardware

-  Networking

- Server operating system (2003, 2008, SBS, and Exchange)

- Microsoft Suite of products

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Able to work independently & be self-motivated

- Answering customer support requests via ticketing system in a timely fashion in accordance with a Service Level Agreement (SLA) -

-  Strong critical thinking skills

- Strong customer service & teamwork skills

- Able to work well in a high stress environment

- 4 year degree and 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience

- Able to adapt to our work hard/play hard atmosphere

- Some Weekend On-Call will be required.

- Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week, which may include on-call status, evenings, and/or weekends.
