up2speed computer solution's offsite media storage service has been designed to securely pickup, transport, and store physical media. All media that is transported and stored by up2speed computer solutions follows a strict process and procedure to insure the media is handled and stored using industry best practices.

Transportation Process

An up2speed computer solutions consultant will arrive at your facility to pick-up and transport the designated media to up2speed computer solution's secure storage facility. The media is transported in a hardened plastic container designed and padded to transport tapes, CDs, and USB drives. The media is transported directly from your facility to up2speed computer solution's secure facility.

Once the media arrives at up2speed computer solution's facility it is stored immediately in a secured area and logged in the up2speed computer solutions ticketing system (TRAILS).

Secure Facility

All media is stored in a fireproof safe in a designated secure area at up2speed computer solutions headquarters. This secure area has the following features and security:

• Alarm System monitored by off-site security firm
• Secure room with a single point of entry
• Secure Check-in/Check-out process of all client media
• Monitored and restricted access to secure room
• Access to secure area is through two metal doors. Each door has two locks (Deadbolts).
• Secure Room has 24/7 video surveillance system
  • Video footage is retained
• Media is stored and secured in a fireproof safe
  • Two hour fire rating, tested in temperatures up to 1830°F
  • Battery operated electronic lock protected by an internal spring-loaded relocking device
  • Massive 1" diameter live locking bolts
  • Steel dead bolts prevent door removal if hinges are removed during a forced attempt
  • Keypad lockout penalty will be activated if combinations are entered incorrectly
  • Keypad Security Code changed every 90 days (combination to safe not stored in any electronic records)
